I work as a software engineer in the Satija Lab at the New York Genome Center (NYGC), where I help lead the development of Seurat and other software for single-cell genomics.
I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in December 2024 with a B.S. in computer science and minors in integrative biology and informatics.
As an undergraduate, I studied agent-based modeling to capture the dynamics of multicellular systems in the Heiser Lab (Summer ‘24) and statistical modeling to address challenges in low-biomass microbiome analysis in the Karstens Lab (Summer ‘22, Summer ‘23, Spring ‘24).
Throughout my experience, I’ve focused on building software that enables the analysis and interpretation of complex, layered data for biomedical research.
